Bhopal, March 4 – Madhya Pradesh is immersed in the vibrant spirit of Holi, the festival of colors, as celebrations unfold with immense enthusiasm across the state. From bustling political corridors to quiet neighborhood lanes, the air is filled with the scent of joy and the splash of gulal.

Holika Dahan lit up the evening skies on Monday, but due to a lunar eclipse on Tuesday, the main Holi festivities shifted to Wednesday. In the heart of the capital, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hosted a floral Holi at his residence, drawing ministers, BJP leaders, and officials for a day of revelry.

The gathering pulsed with lively music and dance, as attendees smeared colors on each other and swayed to traditional Holi tunes. CM Yadav extended heartfelt Holi greetings, wishing for the state’s progress and prosperity for every citizen. A shower of flowers cascaded over the Chief Minister, who reciprocated by blessing the crowd with petals amid resounding cheers.

Opposition leader Umang Singhar joined the festivities with his supporters, sharing warm wishes: ‘May this Holi paint your lives with new joys, filling every home with happiness, prosperity, peace, love, trust, and harmony.’

Across Madhya Pradesh, groups of Holi enthusiasts roam the streets, drenching passersby in vibrant hues. Echoes of folk songs blend with the laughter of dancers, creating an unforgettable tapestry of cultural celebration that unites communities in merriment.
