Himanta Biswa Sarma Visits Flood-Hit Golaghat, Prioritizes Relief and Rehabilitation

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma toured flood-affected regions in Golaghat district to oversee relief operations and provide support to affected communities. He inspected relief camps across multiple revenue circles including Khumtai, Sarupathar, Bokakhat, Morongi, Golaghat, and Dergaon. During his visit, the CM interacted with flood victims, offered support, and directed officials to provide immediate assistance. He also emphasized the need for healthcare, especially for vulnerable groups, and addressed the critical issue of erosion caused by the Dhansiri River. Long-term solutions, including financial aid and infrastructure projects, were discussed.
