Chandigarh, January 21: Haryana Cabinet Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party, attributing its current woes to a deep-seated shift towards family-centric politics. Speaking exclusively to reporters, Gangwa asserted that this transformation has stripped the grand old party of its political relevance in today’s dynamic landscape.
The minister emphasized that for Congress to reclaim its stature, it must urgently revert to core democratic principles. ‘Until they prioritize democracy over dynastic control, no revival is possible,’ he stated firmly. He urged the party to introspect deeply and rectify its internal contradictions, warning that failure to do so would lead to even graver challenges ahead.
Turning to recent controversies, Gangwa dismissed Congress’s allegations regarding the BJP’s national president election as baseless and irrelevant. He highlighted that all BJP elections, from the booth level to the top post, are conducted with unwavering adherence to democratic processes. ‘We never compromise on the sanctity of democracy,’ he affirmed, underscoring the party’s commitment to transparent electoral practices.
In Haryana, Gangwa painted a grim picture of Congress, describing it as fragmented into factions with zero coordination. This disarray, he said, has eroded public trust. Revival would demand grassroots hard work, but the current scattered state makes any progress unlikely.
Contrasting sharply, Gangwa praised the BJP as a true people’s party, focused relentlessly on public welfare without compromise. He reiterated that BJP elections follow strict democratic norms. Under the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,’ the party pursues inclusive growth, ensuring benefits reach the last person in line.
Looking ahead to the upcoming budget, Gangwa assured it would remain people-centric, prioritizing welfare without dilution. His remarks signal BJP’s confidence amid Congress’s struggles, setting the stage for intensified political battles.
