CHANDIGARH – Haryana Governor Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh extended heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers who represented the state in New Delhi’s Republic Day parade on Monday.
Addressing a gathering at the ‘At Home’ reception held at Raj Bhavan, the Governor described their participation not merely as a formality but as a powerful symbol of the nation’s youthful vigor, discipline, and spirit of service.
He portrayed the Republic Day parade as the ultimate expression of India’s unity in diversity, constitutional values, and national resolve. Selection for such a prestigious event demands extraordinary dedication, rigorous training, and unwavering commitment, Ghosh emphasized.
‘You have not only brought glory to Haryana but also contributed to India’s national pride,’ he told the cadets and volunteers, praising their achievements.
Highlighting NCC’s pivotal role in forging disciplined, confident, and responsible citizens, the Governor noted how the organization instills leadership, courage, and patriotism in youth. This equips them to serve the nation in times of need and set examples during peace and progress.
