In a swift crackdown on the shocking Luksar murder case, Greater Noida police have arrested three suspects, with one key accused still evading capture. The incident, which sent shockwaves through the Eco Tech First police station area, unfolded on February 24, 2026, when Nitin, son of Phire, was brutally shot dead in Luksar village.

Local intelligence led officers to Monu, son of Sukhveer, hiding in Puari village. As police closed in, Monu opened fire in a desperate bid to escape. Officers responded, wounding the suspect in the exchange. From his possession, authorities recovered an illegal .315 bore country-made pistol, two live cartridges, and one spent shell.

Monu was rushed to a hospital for treatment, where he remains under medical care and police custody. Prior to this, two other accused, Rajesh Ghanghola and Nitin, had already been nabbed. Sachin, identified as the main perpetrator, is still on the run, prompting intensified raids across potential hideouts.

Senior police officials have assured the public that all involved will soon face justice. Extra forces have been deployed to maintain law and order in the tense region. The investigation continues, with legal proceedings underway to ensure no stone is left unturned in this heinous crime.
