Gorakhpur’s Transformation: CM Yogi to Launch Infrastructure and Industrial Projects Worth Over Rs 1,551 Crore

Gorakhpur is witnessing a significant transformation with the upcoming inauguration and foundation stone laying of projects worth Rs 1,551 crore, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. These developments are spearheaded by the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA). Key projects include the establishment of a Skill Training Centre and Common Facility Centre (CFC) within the Plastic Park near the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. The Plastic Park, a cluster-based development initiative by the Central Government, is designed to boost the plastic industry. Three operational units will be inaugurated, representing a substantial investment, alongside the laying of foundation stones for new ventures by private companies. A Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) and the Kalesar Housing Scheme are further expanding the city’s infrastructure and economic growth.
