The incident occurred on Friday morning when the driver was traveling from Belapur to Ulwe. Instead of using the intended route across the Bay Bridge, the app directed the vehicle along an alternate path, culminating in the car entering the water at Dhruvatara Jetty. Quick action by security officials resulted in the driver’s rescue, without any injuries. The vehicle was subsequently recovered.
