Patna, March 1: In a fiery rebuttal to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s recent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Israel visit, Union Minister Giriraj Singh unleashed a scathing attack. Singh accused Owaisi of being possessed by Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s spirit, declaring that the Hyderabad MP has transformed into a global Muslim leader rather than a national one.
Owaisi had urged India to maintain a balanced and independent foreign policy, emphasizing peace, dialogue, and respect for international law in response to Modi’s trip. But Singh dismissed him outright. ‘Owaisi is no national leader. Jinnah’s ghost has entered his heart. He wants to divide India again, but that won’t happen,’ Singh asserted during a press interaction in Patna.
Turning to infiltration concerns, Singh backed Home Minister Amit Shah’s strong stance. ‘West Bengal has become the biggest nursery for Muslim infiltrators under Mamata Banerjee. These intruders pose a grave threat to India’s security. It’s time to identify and deport them,’ he said. Singh didn’t spare the Congress either, endorsing PM Modi’s portrayal of the party as akin to the Muslim League. Targeting Rahul Gandhi directly, Singh mocked his leadership as dynastic, saying his presence dooms the party.
