Gang stealing diesel from vans busted, 3 held in Uttar Pradesh’s Better Noida

NOIDA: 3 suspects belonging to a gang, which stole diesel from automobiles, particularly vans parked alongside highways, have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Better Noida on Tuesday, police stated.

The police have additionally impounded a canter truck which had a separate cupboard space of round 1,000 litres through which the group would retailer the stolen gasoline, they stated.

“The accused have been held close to the Faleda minimize on Yamuna Limited-access highway by way of the Rabupura police station officers. The group would goal automobiles, particularly delivery vans parked alongside roads with drivers and their helpers resting.

“The group would thieve gasoline from the automobiles and in case the driving force or helper aroused from sleep, the accused brandished firearms to intimidate them,” a police spokesperson stated.

The ones held were known as Hadan and Nadeem, each Better Noida locals, and Afzal, a local of Dholana in Hapur district, the police stated.

An FIR has been lodged within the case on the Rabupura police station and additional felony court cases are being performed, the police added.
