    The fatal incident involving Finance Ministry official Navjot Singh has deeply affected the National Capital Region. The accident happened in Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan, where Singh was struck by a BMW. His wife, Sandeep Kaur, was seriously injured. Subsequent to the accident, allegations of a cover-up have emerged, triggering significant controversy. Gaganpreet Makkar, the 38-year-old driver of the BMW, was taken into custody the following Monday. At the time of the accident, her husband and two children were passengers in the car. The collision involving the Finance Ministry official’s motorcycle happened at Dhaula Kuan. The injured individuals were later transported to a hospital located 20 kilometers away in GTB Nagar, a detail that has prompted further scrutiny.
