Police in Bhubaneswar have arrested a Youtuber who preached about avoiding crime during the day but committed thefts at night. The individual, identified as Manoj Singh, ran a YouTube channel named ‘Change Your Life.’ He gave lectures on how to avoid criminal behavior, but was later found to be involved in multiple crimes. The arrest took place in Khandagiri Badi. Singh, originally from Cuttack, had established himself as a self-help guru online, uploading videos on his YouTube channel, ‘Change Your Life,’ focusing on how to lead a life free of crime and based on principles. The police recovered 200 grams of gold jewelry and 1 lakh rupees in cash from him. He faced charges in over ten cases. The arrest followed an investigation into a theft at Khandagiri Badi. The police had been monitoring Singh’s activities for approximately a week. Authorities have appealed to the public to exercise caution and not to blindly trust online personalities. The owner of the house that was robbed on August 14 explained that they were not home when the crime occurred. Upon returning, they found the main gate and locker room broken, with all the gold jewelry and 5 lakh rupees missing.
