New Delhi is set to host a landmark national conference titled ‘Nari se Narayani’ on March 7-8 at Vigyan Bhawan, focusing on the transformative power of women in nation-building. Organized by Rashtrasevika Samiti, Vidwat Parishad, and Apna Saranya Nyas Delhi, the event promises deep discussions on women’s roles rooted in Indian philosophy.
Dr. Sharad Renu, All India Intellectual Chief of Rashtrasevika Samiti, shared exclusively that preparatory workshops across India have engaged researchers, professors, scholars, and women from diverse fields. These sessions delved into eight key themes: power, devotion, consciousness, and inspiration, featuring research papers and intense dialogues.
The core concept, ‘Nari se Narayani,’ draws from ancient Indian thought, charting a path from individual to family, society, nation, and global welfare. Participants, active in social and professional spheres, are committed to national service. Outcomes from the conference will be compiled and submitted to the Government of India to highlight women’s contributions to a developed nation.
Sunita Haldankar, All India Sah karyavahika, emphasized that this isn’t just a seminar but a broader movement. With family as India’s bedrock and women its backbone, the event aims to channel women’s inherent strengths toward social, economic, and national progress. Beyond discussions, it seeks to organize and direct their latent power effectively.
Dr. Rupa Raval, All India Sah Prachar Pramukh, noted the immense potential within women, urging its awakening for societal and national good. Timed with International Women’s Day, the conference provides a unified platform for women from politics, education, industry, science, and social sectors to share visions for a self-reliant India.
Alka Inamdar, another All India Sah karyavahika, asserted that every woman harbors a ‘Narayani’ within, needing only self-recognition of inner strength. In Sanatana tradition, men and women complement each other in creation, nurturing, and values. True progress must be value-based and balanced.
Sunila Sovani, All India Prachar Pramukh, added that when a woman embodies ‘Narayani,’ her vision expands to national and global welfare. This national conclave will unite leaders from various domains, marking a strong step toward Atmanirbhar Bharat.
