Forward of Meeting polls, Gujarat executive to shape committee for Uniform Civil Code implementation

AHMEDABAD: Forward of the Meeting polls in Gujarat to be held by way of the year-end, the Bharatiya Janata Birthday celebration (BJP) executive within the state on Saturday made up our minds to arrange a committee to put in force the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

Gujarat Minister of State for House Harsh Sanghvi mentioned the state cupboard cleared an offer to represent the committee right through its assembly hung on Saturday.

This is thought of as the final assembly of the Bhupendra Patel-led cupboard because the agenda for the state elections is predicted to be introduced subsequent week.

Previous, the BJP governments in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh had introduced implementation of the UCC of their states.
