Former Jharkhand minister Ok N Tripathi recordsdata nomination for Congress presidential ballot

NEW DELHI: Former Jharkhand minister Ok N Tripathi on Friday submitted his nomination papers for the Congress president election.

Tripathi passed over the nomination papers to Madhusudan Mistry, chairman of the Congress’ Central Election Authority, on the AICC headquarters right here.

But even so Tripathi, former Union minister Shashi Tharoor has filed his nomination papers for the election of the Congress president.

Chief of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge may be scheduled to report his nomination.

Tripathi served because the nationwide president of the Congress-affiliated Indian Nationwide Industry Union Congress (Tripathi faction).
