Five Kanwariyas lost their lives, and four others sustained injuries in a severe road accident in Bhagalpur, Bihar, late Sunday. The incident involved a pickup truck carrying the group of devotees. The accident occurred when a DJ music system mounted on the vehicle made contact with a live electric wire. This contact caused the vehicle to overturn and fall into a roadside canal. The Kanwariyas were on their way to Jayesthgaur Nathsthan, marking the fourth and final Monday of the Shrawan month, when the tragedy unfolded on the Shahkund-Sultanganj road.
