A BJP worker, S. Vignesh Shishir, who raised questions about Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship, is now under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED has summoned Shishir following his petition in the Allahabad High Court, where he alleged that Gandhi is a British citizen. The notice requires Shishir to appear before the ED on September 9th, bringing all supporting evidence and documents related to the case, as per the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

The ED is investigating potential violations of foreign exchange laws. The Congress party has chosen not to comment on the matter.
