SRINAGAR: An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 at the Richter scale hit 38 Kk North of Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.
The Nationwide Heart for Seismology (NCS) stated an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 passed off in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar, round 6.57 am on Sunday.
“The intensity of the earthquake used to be 10 km beneath the bottom,” it stated.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Passed off on 05-03-2023, 06:57:12 IST, Lat: 34.42 & Lengthy: 74.88, Intensity: 10 Km, Location: 38km N of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India,” it tweeted.

Previous on February 28, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 struck the Noney district of Manipur, the Nationwide Heart for Seismology (NCS) stated.
The quake struck round 2.46 am, at a intensity of 25 km.
