    The Delhi Premier League (DPL) auction concluded with franchises making significant investments in player acquisitions. Digvesh Rathi was the top pick, securing a contract with South Delhi Superstars for INR 38 lakh. Simarjeet Singh was acquired by Central Delhi Kings for INR 39 lakh, while Nitish Rana joined West Delhi Lions for INR 34 lakh. Prince Yadav was signed by New Delhi Tigers for INR 33 lakh. Rohan Jaitley, DDCA President, reflected on the success of the previous DPL season, underscoring the substantial viewership and engagement metrics. Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, emphasizing the valuable platform for player development. Central Delhi Kings retained Jonty Sidhu and added players such as Yash Dhull. East Delhi Riders strengthened their squad with Navdeep Saini. New Delhi Tigers brought in Prince Yadav. North Delhi Strikers strengthened their bowling attack. Outer Delhi Warriors signed Suyash Sharma and Harsh Tyagi. Puraani Dilli 6 retained Rishabh Pant, and South Delhi Superstarz added Digvesh Rathi. West Delhi Lions added experience with Nitish Rana and Ishant Sharma.
