Authorities in Delhi are seeking critical information from private hospitals regarding doctors who hold degrees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, the UAE, and China, as part of the ongoing Red Fort blast investigation. The Delhi Police have issued official notices, emphasizing the urgent need for this data.

The probe is broadening its scope beyond initial leads, particularly concerning Umar Nabi, who is believed to have carried out the suicide attack at the Red Fort on November 10th. Investigators are examining his affiliation with Al-Falah University, where approximately 30 doctors have been interviewed. These interviews aim to shed light on Umar’s conduct and associations.

Colleagues have reportedly described Umar’s behavior as unfriendly and reclusive, with limited interactions allowed with his peers. Simultaneously, a recovered mobile phone linked to Umar is undergoing intense scrutiny. The device contains several videos, some of which appear to endorse radical ideologies and acts of violence. The recovery of these videos is a crucial step in identifying potential co-conspirators.

The investigation has already led to the apprehension of multiple suspects linked to the Red Fort blast and a previously active terror outfit. The focus on foreign-educated medical professionals signifies a thorough approach to uncovering all potential threads connected to the incident and preventing future threats.
