    The ‘X’ account of Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde was hacked on Sunday, with the hackers posting images of the Pakistani and Turkish flags. The account has since been recovered. This incident created unrest among followers and within political circles.

    Eknath Shinde’s office stated that the technical team acted swiftly to retrieve the account. The account is now fully functional and secure.

    The hackers also streamed live content featuring the Pakistani and Turkish flags. This occurred on the same day as the second India-Pakistan Asia Cup match. An official mentioned that they immediately informed the cyber crime police. The team responsible for managing the Deputy CM’s X handle later recovered the account, a process that took about 30-45 minutes.

    The technical team promptly regained control and restored the security of the account. The account is now fully secured and functioning normally. Authorities confirmed that no sensitive information was leaked during the hack.

    This incident highlights vulnerabilities in cyber security. The posting of Pakistani and Turkish flags on the Deputy CM’s account caused a stir among followers. The Maharashtra Cyber Cell will now investigate this incident to identify the hackers involved. Hacking and cybercrimes are increasing rapidly in India, resulting in losses of thousands of crores of rupees each year.
