    With Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) registering at 140, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has removed Stage-I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This decision was made following a review of air quality data and weather forecasts. While the AQI reading of 140 remains ‘unhealthy for sensitive groups,’ it represents a shift from the ‘Poor’ category. The CAQM order highlighted the need for all agencies within the NCR to comply with environmental regulations to ensure that air quality remains at its current improved levels. The IMD forecasts indicate the AQI will likely stay in the ‘Moderate’ category in the coming days.
