New Delhi erupted into panic on Thursday morning as multiple prominent schools, including Amity and Birla Vidya Niketan, received chilling bomb threats via anonymous calls and emails. In a swift response, authorities evacuated the premises and launched extensive search operations across the affected sites.

Delhi Police swiftly mobilized anti-sabotage teams, bomb disposal squads, local police forces, fire brigades, ambulances, and PCR units to the locations. The entire school campuses were cleared of students, teachers, and staff to ensure utmost safety. Officials emphasized that protecting lives remains their top priority, with all necessary security measures firmly in place.

This alarming incident follows a similar hoax threat at Dwarka Court the previous day, where an email prompted immediate evacuation. After thorough checks, the court threat was confirmed as false, bringing relief to authorities. However, the recurrence of such threats has heightened concerns, especially given the pattern of fake alerts targeting schools, colleges, and government offices in recent months.

Police have urged the public to stay calm yet vigilant, reporting any suspicious activity immediately to the 112 emergency helpline or nearest station. Cyber units are now tracing the origins of these threats through technical investigations, determined to apprehend those responsible. As searches continue, the city holds its breath, hoping for quick resolution and no harm.

In a broader context, these incidents underscore the growing menace of hoax bomb threats disrupting public life. Last year saw a surge in similar false alarms, prompting calls for stricter cyber monitoring and public awareness campaigns to combat panic-mongering.
