Emails containing ominous warnings were received by staff at Army Public School in Delhi Cantt, Salwan Public School, and Mira Public School in Janakpuri, prompting an immediate response from authorities.
The threats were discovered shortly after 8 AM, leading school officials to alert the Delhi Police and fire services without delay. Within minutes, bomb disposal squads, sniffer dogs, and firefighting teams descended on the sites. Perimeter areas were swiftly cordoned off to safeguard students and personnel, though no suspicious items have been found so far.
Investigators are now tracing the origin of these menacing emails, amid a disturbing pattern of similar incidents plaguing the capital. Just last week, Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan and Air Force Bal Bharti School on Lodhi Road faced identical threats, which also turned out to be hoaxes after thorough searches.
This wave of threats extends beyond schools, with recent targets including the Delhi Secretariat, Legislative Assembly, and even the historic Red Fort.
