In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police has uncovered a sinister plot orchestrated by Pakistan’s ISI and Bangladesh-based terror groups. Six suspects, including Bangladeshi nationals, were arrested in Tamil Nadu as part of a foiled large-scale terrorist attack plan targeting multiple Indian cities.
The operation kicked off with intelligence inputs about provocative online activities and suspicious communications with cross-border radicals. Raids in Uthukuli, Palladam, and Tirumuruganpoondi led to the capture of the suspects, identified as Mijanur Rahman, Mohammad Shabat, Umar, Mohammad Litan, Mohammad Shahid, and Mohammad Uzzal. Authorities seized dozens of mobile phones and SIM cards from their possession, believed to be used for coordinating with handlers and spreading banned terror propaganda.
Posing as garment factory workers with fake Aadhaar cards, these individuals conducted reconnaissance in several cities. They even pasted ‘Free Kashmir’ posters in Delhi, signaling their intent to incite unrest. Initial probes reveal their social media posts supported Pakistan-based terror outfits, with forensic analysis underway to decode communication records and uncover wider networks.
This module has seen eight arrests so far, including two from West Bengal earlier. All suspects are now in Delhi for intense interrogation, promising more revelations about the ISI’s shadowy operations in India. Security agencies remain vigilant amid rising threats from neighboring countries.
