Officials from the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) and the Delhi government have reported significant success in minimizing waterlogging in Delhi. NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal reported almost no waterlogging issues after inspecting drainage systems on Africa Avenue road. He noted zero complaints in NDMC-controlled areas, attributing the positive outcome to collaborative efforts and the organization’s commitment to a waterlogging-free city. Bharti Nagar’s rainwater harvesting system was cited as a key example of successful water management. The NDMC has also implemented pumping systems in low-lying areas. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta confirmed that there was no waterlogging in the capital following recent heavy rainfall and highlighted improvements, such as at Minto Bridge.
