In a profound display of faith on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the ancient Shri Amarkh Mahadev Temple in Amberi, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Accompanied by key cabinet members, she offered heartfelt prayers to Lord Shiva, seeking prosperity and well-being for Delhi’s residents.

Gupta shared her spiritual experience on social media platform X, describing the temple as a timeless center of penance, detachment, and Shiv consciousness. ‘This sacred day awakens the Shiva essence within us,’ she wrote, emphasizing Shiva’s role as the origin of creation, balance, and transformation.

Her prayers extended beyond personal devotion, invoking divine blessings for Delhi and the entire nation. She urged strength for all to remain steadfast in service and public welfare. Present at the event were cabinet colleagues Ashish Sood and Ravindra Indraj, MLA Anil Sharma, and several Rajasthan BJP leaders.

The visit continued to Nathdwara Dham, where Gupta paid obeisance to Lord Srinathji, the Govardhan-carrying form of Krishna. She reflected on the site’s enduring legacy of devotion, mercy, and protection, noting how Shiva’s austerity and Krishna’s compassion together embody the completeness of Sanatan Dharma.

Concluding her message with warm Mahashivratri greetings, Gupta prayed for happiness, peace, and sustained progress for Delhi under Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati’s grace. This pilgrimage underscores her commitment to blending spiritual values with governance.

Meanwhile, in a bold administrative move, the Delhi government announced a revolutionary initiative to assign a unique 14-digit ‘Aadhaar-like’ identification number to every plot of land. Aimed at modernizing land records and resolving property disputes, this step promises transparency and ease for citizens, marking a new era in urban land management.
