An explosion in a Hyundai i20 car near Delhi’s Red Fort has led police to detain its former owner, Salman, as part of their ongoing investigation. The incident, which involved the vehicle with registration HR 26 7624 and three individuals inside, occurred while the car was traveling. Salman has provided details about the car’s sale, indicating it passed through Devendra from Okhla and later to an owner in Ambala, Haryana. Police are now working diligently with RTO authorities to pinpoint the current possessor of the vehicle. Investigators have pointed out that the explosion lacked common forensic markers of a bomb, such as blast craters or pellet wounds on victims. This unusual characteristic is being factored into the probe. Following the event, the Union Home Minister has pledged a full investigation, assuring that all investigative avenues are being explored by a joint task force of specialized agencies to swiftly resolve the mystery behind the explosion.
