GONDA (UP): Police right here arrested a cleric on Friday for allegedly raping a Dalit lady for a number of months within the title of exorcism.
Superintendent of Police Akash Tomar stated that the lady, residing in a space beneath Police Station Kotwali Nagar limits, had complained to the police that her neighbour, Mohammad Zainul Abedin, used to be sexually abusing her for approximately six months, all this whilst pretending to ‘exorcise’ her.

Tomar stated Zainul has been booked for rape and beneath sections of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
