Law enforcement clashed with a group denied permission for a bike rally, causing injuries to eight police officers. The initial clashes occurred late Friday near the Dargha Bazaar, allegedly after objections were raised regarding loud music played during the idol immersion procession. The situation quickly escalated, with individuals throwing stones and glass bottles, leading to numerous injuries, including the Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police.
