Patna, February 11: Bihar Government Minister Dilip Jaiswal unleashed a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of orchestrating unconstitutional disruptions in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Speaking exclusively to IANS, Jaiswal declared that the nation is witnessing a desperate bid by the opposition to destabilize the government after being rejected by the people.
“The entire country is watching how, when the public rejects you, you resort to such unconstitutional measures to undermine the government. This will not be tolerated,” Jaiswal asserted firmly.
Turning his attention to law and order in Bihar, the minister issued a stern warning to criminals. “There will be no place for criminals in Bihar anymore. They must either mend their ways or leave the state. Those who harbor them—be they leaders or so-called community leaders—will not be able to protect them. Bihar will no longer tolerate crime.”
Jaiswal also reacted sharply to controversial remarks by Janata Unnayan Party chief Humayun Kabir, who had responded to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement by saying, ‘This is Bengal, not UP.’ Dismissing such rhetoric, Jaiswal labeled those behind divisive statements as forces intent on spoiling the atmosphere. “This is not Babur’s country; it is the eternal land of Sanatan Dharma. Those engaging in such acts are divisive forces.”
In a proud note, Jaiswal hailed the appointment of BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin, a 45-year-old son of Bihar and a state assembly member. “It is a matter of pride that at just 45, Bihar’s son has become the national president of one of the world’s largest political parties. This is an honor for the entire state.”
On lingering questions surrounding the plane crash involving the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Jaiswal maintained a pragmatic stance. “Anyone can level allegations of conspiracy or wrongdoing. If an investigation is needed, it can be conducted.”
Jaiswal’s statements underscore the Bihar government’s zero-tolerance policy on crime and its firm stance against political destabilization efforts, signaling a robust defense of constitutional norms amid ongoing parliamentary tensions.
