New Delhi witnessed a wave of tributes from Congress leaders on the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the iconic freedom fighter and founder of the Indian National Army. Marking the occasion with heartfelt messages, party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and several others remembered Netaji’s revolutionary spirit, his electrifying slogans, and his unwavering opposition to communalism.

In a poignant X post, Kharge hailed Netaji as the voice that ignited patriotism through slogans like ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.’ He emphasized Netaji’s unparalleled love for the motherland and his firm stand against divisiveness, urging all to draw inspiration for nation-building.

Rahul Gandhi, in his tribute, bowed to Netaji’s courage, determination, and visionary leadership that propelled India towards independence. ‘His dedication to the nation remains an eternal beacon for every Indian,’ Gandhi wrote, concluding with ‘Jai Hind.’

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda echoed these sentiments, recalling how Netaji’s iconic call infused new vigor into the freedom struggle. Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala shared a powerful quote from Netaji: ‘Our path may be thorny and treacherous, but we must press on. Success may be distant, but inevitable.’

Netaji’s legacy as a former Congress president and pioneer of the Azad Hind Fauj continues to inspire millions. His life exemplified selfless service, bold action against colonial rule, and a vision for a united India free from hatred. As political leaders across the spectrum reflect on his contributions, the nation reaffirms its commitment to the values he championed—unity, sacrifice, and unyielding patriotism.

These commemorations come at a time when India grapples with contemporary challenges, reminding citizens of Netaji’s call to action. His forward march against adversity serves as a timeless lesson in resilience and resolve.
