Patna, February 22: Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal unleashed a scathing attack on the Congress party, declaring that it has lost its ground and brought shame to itself worldwide following the Youth Congress’s shirtless protest at the prestigious AI Summit in Bharat Mandapam. Supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks from Meerut, Jaiswal emphasized that the incident did not tarnish India’s image but exposed Congress’s leadership vacuum.
Prime Minister Modi had highlighted the landmark AI Impact Summit, the largest of its kind in any developing nation, attended by representatives from over 80 countries in Delhi. ‘The entire country swelled with pride, but what did Congress and its ecosystem do? They turned India’s global event into an arena for their dirty, naked politics,’ Modi had said.
Echoing this, Jaiswal stated at the Bihar Development Summit in Talkatora Stadium, ‘The way Youth Congress workers protested shirtless at the AI Summit hasn’t shamed India—it’s Congress that’s disgraced globally. The party is now leaderless, has lost its base, and even young students feel embarrassed.’
The summit, organized under the ‘Let’s Inspire’ initiative, drew thousands of Biharis from across India and abroad. Participants focused on strategies for a ‘Developed India.’ Jaiswal showcased Bihar’s rapid infrastructure growth, including expansive road networks, enhanced connectivity, industrial corridors, and investor-friendly policies.
He urged domestic and international investors to join Bihar’s development journey, promising vast job opportunities for youth and paving the way for a developed, self-reliant state. This comes amid Bihar’s aggressive push for economic transformation under the NDA government.
