    On the eve of Republic Day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, hailing the occasion as the grand festival marking the creation of India’s Constitution. In a poignant message, he paid tribute to freedom fighters, Constitution framers, and statehood agitators, emphasizing the profound significance of January 26.

    Dhami highlighted how this day inspires every citizen to fulfill the dreams of independence heroes and stay committed to national goals. He stressed the collective duty to uphold the Constitution’s core principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, ensuring these democratic ideals remain the bedrock of society.

    Looking ahead, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. Uttarakhand, revered as the land of gods, is poised to become the nation’s top state. PM Modi’s declaration of the third decade of the 21st century as Uttarakhand’s decade has infused fresh energy among residents, driving ambitious development agendas.

    Prioritizing public service, the government has launched initiatives like ‘Government at Your Doorstep,’ reaching millions with welfare schemes. Uttarakhand’s pioneering implementation of a Uniform Civil Code has set a precedent for other states, preserving the region’s cultural ethos while enhancing pilgrimage infrastructure. The Char Dham Yatra has seen surging pilgrim numbers, bolstered by winter circuits and the Mansakhand Temple Corridor mission in Kumaon.

    Economic growth is a key focus, with investor-friendly policies, export promotion earning top rankings from NITI Aayog, and over 27,000 government jobs filled in four years. Tough measures against corruption, land encroachments—freeing 10,000 hectares—and conversions, alongside the strictest anti-cheating law, underscore resolute governance.

    Honoring women with 30% job reservations, Dhami called for unified efforts toward a developed Uttarakhand, aligning with ‘One India, Great India’ and ‘Self-Reliant India.’ His message resonates as a clarion call for progress and unity.
