Union Minister Chirag Paswan has expressed his concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar, criticizing the Nitish Kumar government. He highlighted the rise in violent crimes, including murder, kidnapping, and rape, and stated that he felt saddened to support the current government. Paswan warned that the unchecked crime could create a dangerous environment in the state.

He also suggested the possibility that these incidents are being used to defame the government but maintained that the government must address them. He urged the Bihar government to take prompt action. This criticism followed a shocking incident in Gaya, where a woman was allegedly raped in an ambulance by the driver and technician while on the way to the hospital after collapsing during a recruitment process. Police have arrested the suspects and initiated a Special Investigation Team to probe the matter.
