The Karnataka government, after submitting a status report on the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede, is committed to taking action, according to Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao. The stampede, a result of celebrations following Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL win, resulted in 11 fatalities and numerous injuries. The minister stated that the focus is on accountability for any mishandling of the event, and not on a blame game. He emphasized that the investigation’s findings would be carefully considered before decisions are made.
