The monsoon continues its influence across India, ushering in a period of rainfall. Delhi-NCR experienced heavy downpours on Sunday night, which continued into Monday morning. The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for Monday and extended it for Tuesday. Today, the capital can expect thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall. Similar weather, with cloudy skies and moderate rain, is predicted for the following day. This rainy pattern in Delhi is likely to persist until July 13. Uttar Pradesh is set to experience heavy rainfall in districts like Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Shahjahanpur, Jalaun, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur. Bihar mirrors Uttar Pradesh with diminished rainfall, currently experiencing a dry spell during this monsoon season. Forecasts suggest rain in certain Bihar districts. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated in Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Telangana, and Uttarakhand. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Assam, Meghalaya, coastal Karnataka, the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, and Rajasthan. Moreover, heavy rainfall is predicted in Jharkhand, Kerala, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
