Hakimuddin Nasir, Mahasamund. Due to the dirty water of Mahasamund Nagar, the villagers of Tumadbari have to suffer from diseases like itching and diarrhea. The villagers have also informed the Municipal CMO about this problem, but till now no solution has been found. Tired and defeated, the villagers are now reaching the Collectorate and pleading with the top officials. It is noteworthy that Tumadbari is a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Parsada (B). About 75 families reside in Ward 10 of Tumadbari, where two bores and a hand pump are installed. Dirty water from ward numbers 4 and 5 of Mahasamund Municipality falls into the village pond through drains.

Due to contamination of the water source due to dirty water, smelly and dirty water is coming out from the bores and hand pumps installed in the village. The villagers, along with the Sarpanch, have complained to the Municipal CMO regarding the disease caused by this contaminated water, but no solution has been found.

The villagers along with Sarpanch Virendra Chandrakar say that due to dirty water they are facing diseases like itching and diarrhea. They have to wander for clean water. Meanwhile, Deputy Collector Harishankar Paikra says that orders have been given to the CMO. The villagers will get relief from this problem as soon as possible.
