Vijay Sharma reached his home district on Raksha Bandhan, rural sisters tied Rakhi, Deputy CM said- this festival is an integral part of our culture

Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma reached the villages of Neurgaon Khurd and Khurmuda of Kabirdham district on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Here he participated in the Rakshabandhan and tree plantation program. The sisters of the village tied Rakhi to Deputy CM Sharma. Here he announced the construction of a mini stadium and also gave a message of environmental protection. On this occasion, he said that Rakshabandhan is a festival of unbreakable love and trust between brother and sister, which is an integral part of our culture.

Deputy CM Sharma attended the Rakshabandhan program organized in the villages of Neurgaon Khurd and Khurmuda of Kabirdham district. The sisters of the area expressed their affection towards Deputy Chief Minister Sharma by tying Rakhi to him. Deputy CM Sharma gave a big gift to the residents of Neurgaon Khurd. He announced the construction of a mini stadium in the village at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. He said that sports is not only a medium of physical development but it also develops discipline, team spirit and self-confidence in the youth. Through this mini stadium, the villagers will be able to inspire their children towards sports.

Along with this, the Deputy Chief Minister participated in the tree plantation program in Neurgaon Khurd, where he appreciated the efforts being made towards environmental protection and appealed to plant more and more trees. He said that trees are the heritage of our environment and we should try to leave a green and clean environment for the coming generations. After this, Deputy Chief Minister Sharma also participated in the ‘Mor Sangwari’ program organized in Rukhwa village.
