Where two employees of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) came to visit the waterfall. The people present on the spot tried to help immediately, but by then it was too late.
The deceased have been identified as two employees from Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, who used to work in Haldibari Callery. According to preliminary information, a total of eight employees of the company had reached the waterfall to spend the holiday. But the strong current and the depth of water killed two people.
As soon as the incident was reported, the local administration reached the spot and both the bodies were taken out after running the rescue operation. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.

According to officials, the accident occurred due to landing in the deep part of the waterfall and not being able to guess the flow. The administration is now considering new security measures here to ensure the safety of the visiting tourists.
