    The performance of children on the song ‘There is such magic in my Bastar’ captivated everyone.

    Children’s art honored by Union Home Minister at Bastar Pandum closing ceremony.

    At the closing ceremony of the divisional level Bastar Pandum 2026, the cultural performance by school children charmed everyone. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah praised the cultural program presented by the school children heartily and encouraged them by clapping. In honor of the Union Home Minister’s welcome, thousands of school children from Jagdalpur gave a captivating cultural performance on the song “There is such magic in my Bastar”. Seeing the heartfelt and disciplined performance of the children, Shri Amit Shah was also overwhelmed and encouraged the children by clapping.

    Girls also performed Malkhamb, which was highly appreciated by the audience. Union Home Minister Shri Shah praised the children’s art, discipline, and confidence, wishing them a bright future.
    On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and other dignitaries also appreciated the children’s performance and encouraged them.

    It is noteworthy that the song “There is such magic in my Bastar” has been composed in Hindi and Halbi languages. Artists from Bastar’s Badal Academy have contributed their voices and music to this song. The Daira Band has given a new form to this song with modern music, making it particularly popular among youth and children.
