The Hareli festival was celebrated in a traditional manner at the residence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Items like ‘Katha’, used for measuring grains, ‘Khumri’, a head covering for protection from the sun and rain, ‘Kansi Dori’, used for weaving cots, ‘Jhapi’, a wooden container, and ‘Kalari’, used for handling grains during processing, were showcased. The festival provided a platform to showcase and preserve the traditional practices and tools of Chhattisgarh.
