Upon arrival in Tokyo, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai commenced his visit with a visit to the Asakusa Temple. He prayed for the prosperity and ongoing progress of the people of Chhattisgarh. Subsequently, the Chief Minister and his delegation held discussions with Kayo Ito, the CEO of NTT Ltd., a prominent global IT infrastructure and digital solutions provider.
The primary focus of the meeting was on the potential for technology-driven investments within Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister underscored the importance of strengthening the state’s digital infrastructure. Discussions covered NTT’s proficiency in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
An evening reception hosted by the Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, provided a platform for discussing the need to strengthen links between Indo-Pacific nations through industry and trade. The discussions emphasized the significance of economic stability, trade security, environmental balance, and industrial growth.
CM Sai highlighted the possibilities for collaboration between Japan’s sophisticated technology and India’s skilled labor force, leading to extensive industrial cooperation. He also focused on promoting cultural exchange and showcasing Chhattisgarh as an appealing destination for Japanese tourists.
