    Raipur. The three -tier panchayat general election 2025 will be held in three phases. Voting has started in 53 development blocks today in the first phase of elections. The color of ballot paper for the three -tier panchayat general election has been kept pink for the District Panchayat member, yellow for Janpad Panchayat member, blue for sarpanch and white for panch. In the first phase of the three -tier panchayat elections, elections were being held for 27 thousand 210 panch, 3 thousand 605 sarpanch, 911 district members and 149 district panchayat members.

    A total of 60,203 panch and 14,646 sarpanch candidates are in the fray, while 702 candidates of District Panchayat member and 4587 candidates of Janpad Panchayat member are contesting. 9873 polling stations have been set up for the first phase of voting.

    Officials of the State Election Commission said that in the first phase, voting will be held in 53 development blocks of the state on February 17. The development blocks where voting is to be held in the first phase-in which the development block of the district Bilaspur, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi’s development block Gorela, District Mungeli development block Mungeli, District Janjgir-Champa development block Bamhnidi and Akaltara, Akaltara, District Development Block Jajapur, District Korba development block Korba and Karatla, district Raigad development block Raigad and Pusaur, district sarangarh-Bilaigarh development block, Burmakela of District Surajpur, Surajpur and Bhaiyathan of district Surajpur, development block of district Balrampur, Kusmi, Rajpur and Shakgargarh, Vikaskhand Ambikapur of Surguja, Ambikapur, Lakhanpur and Udaipur , Block Sonhat of District Korea, Kharagwan, development block of district Manendragarh-Chirmi-Bharatpur, development block garden of district Jashpur.

    Similarly, the development block of district Raipur and Abhanpur, development block of district Balodabazar, Bhatapara and Simga, Gariaband and Mainpur of District Gariaband, Basna and Saraipali of District Mahasamund, Basna and Saraipali, District Dhamtari’s development block Dhamtari and Magarlod, District Development of District Bemetara, Bemetara and Nawagarh, district’s development block, Bemetara and Nawagarh, District Durg’s development block, district Balod development block Dondilohara and Dondi, District Rajnandgaon development block Rajnandgaon, District Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai development block, Chuikhadan, District Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki’s development block Manpur, District Kabirdham’s development and Kabirdham’s development Kavardha and Sahaspur Lohara Kondagaon of district Kondagaon, Jagdalpur and Darbha of district Bastar, Narayanpur of District Narayanpur, Narayanpur, district North Bastar Kanker, Kanker, Charama and Narhpur, Dantewada and Gidam of South Bastar Dantewada district and Sukma of District Sukma and Vikas of District Sukma and Bijapur district Bijapur is involved.
