Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. A train carrying HR coil from Nagarnar plant derailed, due to which two loaded HR coil wagons derailed at Y-junction near Nagarnar. Traffic remained disrupted in the area due to this incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the railway sent the MFD team to the spot.
After about 10 hours of hard work, the repair work of the railway track was completed by Sunday and the wagon was brought back on track. The operation of trains has also become normal. A team of 30 people worked throughout the night in this entire work. The track was cleared after 21 hours. The expenses incurred in the incident will be paid by NMDC Steel Limited.
