    Raipur April 20, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Governor Acharya Devvrat of Gujarat today attended the Dharmaraksha Mahayagya and Vedic Sanatan Sanskriti Sammelan organized at DDU Auditorium, Raipur on the auspicious occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati ji and the 150th foundation year of Arya Samaj. During this, Chief Minister Shri Sai performed havan-pujan in the Dharmaraksha Yagya and wished for the welfare of the state. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai and Governor Acharya Devvrat released the booklet “Chunautiyon ka Chintan” prepared by the Chhattisgarh Provincial Arya Representative Sabha.

    Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai remembered Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. He said that Arya Samaj has completed 150 years of working for the welfare of humanity. Arya Samaj is continuously doing the work of serving the country, protecting religion and culture and creating public awareness. Shri Sai informed that he has been associated with Arya Samaj since 1999 being influenced by the ideas of Maharishi Dayanand and he continues to receive guidance from the scholars of the society on various occasions. Arya Samaj is doing the pious work of imparting culture and education by promoting the ideas of Maharishi Dayanand.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our Prime Minister is especially emphasizing on promoting natural farming and the use of indigenous breeds of cows. The state government will definitely accelerate its efforts in this direction. Shri Sai said that in the last one and a half years, our government has worked to fulfill Modi’s guarantees. We had already approved 18 lakh houses in the cabinet to provide houses to poor families and now a survey of Awas Plus-Plus is being done. He said that pucca houses will be provided to all the needy families of the state. Along with this, the pious resolution of pilgrimage of the people of the state is also being fulfilled through the scheme of giving Rs 10,000 annually to landless laborers, Rs 1000 per month to mothers and sisters, Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana and Ramlala Darshan Yojana.

    Paying obeisance to Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat said that the resolution of physical, mental and social upliftment will be fulfilled by imbibing his life values ​​and thoughts. He expressed his views on the entire life journey and objectives of Maharishi Dayanand. He said that it is very important to protect and promote natural agriculture and indigenous cattle. By adopting a scientific approach, if we make cow rearing profitable, then a natural consciousness will develop in the society for its protection. With this, the problem of animals wandering on the roads will automatically end. He said that we can build a healthy society through organic farming.

    On this occasion, Chairman of Yoga Commission Shri Roop Narayan Sinha, Chairman of Gau Seva Commission Shri Visheshar Patel, Swami Dharmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Shri Suresh Ji, Captain Rudrasen, Shri Vinay Arya, Dr. Rajendra Vidya Alankar, Shri Prabal Pratap Judev, Shri Ramkumar Patel of Arya Samaj along with Aryaveer and followers of Arya Samaj were present.
