Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said – ‘Your resolve is our resolve, together we will make Chhattisgarh Naxal-free’
Raipur, March 19, 2025/ The youth of the remote Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh created history today in the temple of democracy – the Legislative Assembly complex.
Under the state’s ‘Swami Vivekananda Youth Promotion Scheme’, these young representatives of Bijapur, who arrived on an educational tour, expressed their intention unitedly before Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai – “We want to see our village, district, and state free from Naxalism and want to brighten our future by joining the mainstream of development.”
On this historic occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, appreciating this strong willpower of the youth, said, “Your resolve is our resolve. If the youth of the region decide, with the cooperation of all of us, we will soon end the darkness of Naxalism and take Chhattisgarh to new heights of prosperity and development.”
New light of development through ‘Niyad Nella Nar Yojana’
Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the youth that the state government is working rapidly to provide basic facilities to their villages through the ‘Niyad Nella Nar Yojana’. He said that the Naxalite scope is shrinking due to the continuous opening of security camps and the increasing access of administration to remote areas, which is now giving new impetus to development.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, mentioning the important discussions he had with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah during his recent Delhi visit, said that the central government is also fully committed to the development of Bijapur and other areas of Bastar division. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah are constantly monitoring the situation in the remote areas of the state and are regularly reviewing the development works being done there.
Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the youth that plans to install mobile towers, build paved roads, provide electricity to every household, and expand transportation facilities in their villages are the government’s priority. He said that work is being done rapidly in this direction so that the villagers of remote areas can also get the benefit of urban facilities.
Historic day for the youth of Bijapur – got the experience of the Legislative Assembly and the capital
For the hundreds of youth who came from different villages of Bijapur district, this day was nothing short of a historic experience. During this educational tour organized in the capital Raipur, they visited the railway station, Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.
During their arrival in the capital, the youth visited the Legislative Assembly complex and watched the proceedings of the House from the visitor’s gallery. They were thrilled to see the debates and policy discussions of the public representatives from this platform of democracy for the first time.
During this, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Shri Dharam Kaushik, Anuj Sharma and Ms. Lata Usendi also met and discussed with the youth.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma took detailed information from the youth about the situation in their village and assured them that the state government is fully committed to providing all necessary facilities like paved roads, electricity, pure drinking water, ration, medical and housing in their villages.

Chief Minister Shri Sai gave this message to the youth on this occasion that education is the basic mantra of development. When the youth move forward in the right direction, no power can obstruct the development of the region. He said that the young generation of Chhattisgarh is now ready for change.
