Ghanshyam Yadav, area manager of Belstar Microfinance Limited operating in Wadrafnagar, lodged a written complaint with the police that the sales officer posted in the branch, Sharif Ansari, has absconded after embezzling the loan amount given to the customers of the company. Accused Sharif Ansari had got the loan sanctioned through about 114 groups in districts like Surajpur-Balrampur, and has absconded after embezzling about 35 lakh rupees. Not only this, he has also switched off his mobile so that his location is not traced.
According to the information, Belstar Microfinance Company provides loans to groups. Accused Sharif Ansari was not only a salesman of the company but also a field officer who used to connect groups, provide loans and collect the loan amount. Many brokers of the area were also in contact with Sharif Ansari, who used to cheat innocent and less educated people by giving them loans.

In this case, Wadrafnagar police station in-charge Dakeshwar Singh said that after the application, a case has been registered against Sharif Ansari under sections 420, 408 and he is being searched. It is believed that after the arrest of the accused, many big revelations can also happen.
