After hearing both the parties, the High Court has rejected the petition filed by the wife against the divorce decree passed by the Family Court. Actually, the petitioner woman is employed in the Municipal Corporation. She was married on 29 January 2003 in Triveni Bhawan Bilaspur as per Hindu customs. Her husband was 10 years younger than her and worked in a private shop. After marriage, the wife kept visiting her maternal home, due to which she used to have arguments with her husband. Meanwhile, a child was born on 3 June 2004. The fight between the husband and wife continued. After a few days, the wife went to her maternal home with her child.

Meanwhile, the husband planned to go to Dwarka for the child’s Mundan Sanskar, the wife agreed to it. Later, the child’s Mundan Sanskar was performed in the absence of the husband and in-laws without informing them. In the year 2012, the husband went to take his wife, but the wife refused to live with him. On this, the husband filed a divorce petition in the family court. The family court accepted it.

After this, the wife appealed to the High Court and demanded the divorce order to be rejected. After hearing both the parties, the High Court upheld the decision of the family court. During the hearing of the case, the High Court found that the allegations of assault and character assassination made by the woman against her husband are fabricated. And no documents have been presented to prove the said allegations.
