Measurement Work Carried Out for Shed Construction in Giroudpuri Fair Grounds in the Presence of the Fair Committee President and the Collector
Balodabazar, March 5, 2025 / The district administration has swiftly begun implementing the announcement made by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. In the presence of the President of the Giroudpuri Fair Committee, religious leader Guru Baldas Saheb, and Collector Deepak Soni, officials from the Public Works Department took measurements on Wednesday for the construction of a permanent shed from the main entrance of the fairgrounds to the main temple. The President of the Fair Committee, religious leader Guru Baldas Saheb, instructed the officials to ensure high-quality shed construction.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited Giroudpuri on March 4, 2025, for the inauguration of the Giroudpuri Fair, offered prayers at the Guru Gaddi, and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s residents. On this occasion, responding to the demand of the Fair Committee, he increased the Giroudpuri Fair’s budget from 2.5 million to 5 million rupees and announced the construction of a permanent shed from the main entrance of the fairgrounds to the main temple. The permanent shed construction from the main entrance of the fairgrounds to the main temple will benefit devotees who prostrate themselves while walking. The shed construction will provide relief to devotees from rain and sun. The permanent shed will be constructed for a distance of approximately 1200 meters from the main entrance to the main temple.
It is to be noted that, under the guidance of Collector Deepak Soni, the facilities for devotees have been expanded at this year’s Giroudpuri Fair. In addition, for the first time, a temporary shed has also been constructed from the main entrance to the main temple for the convenience of devotees.
