Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai surprised the villagers by suddenly arriving in Karigaon, Sakti district.

“The meaning of good governance is to understand the real situation of the people by going directly among them and providing quick solutions” – Chief Minister Shri Sai

Raipur, May 5, 2025 / Under “Surajya Tihar 2025”, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today surprised the villagers by suddenly arriving in Karigaon, Sakti district. Instead of landing in Limgaon, the Chief Minister’s helicopter landed directly in Bandora village, which left the administrative staff in a state of confusion for a while. The administration was already preparing to welcome the Chief Minister in Limgaon, but the entire arrangement had to be immediately shifted there upon the Chief Minister’s arrival in Karigaon.

In Karigaon, the Chief Minister held a Chaupal (village assembly) under a Peepal tree and interacted directly with the villagers. The Chief Minister sat on a cot and listened to the problems of the villagers in a relaxed atmosphere. The villagers, and especially the women, welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with lotus flowers. The Chief Minister listened to everyone attentively and also gave necessary directions to the concerned officials.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the meaning of good governance is to understand the real situation of the people by going directly among them and providing quick solutions. The administrative system is only considered successful when the voice of the last person reaches the government directly.
